Achieve Biodiversity Net Gain with Confidence

What is Biodiversity Net Gain?

The Legal Landscape
Since 12 February 2024, BNG has been mandatory for most new developments. From April 2024, small sites are also included.
The legislation requires:

Submission of a BNG plan with planning applications

Use of a DEFRA-approved biodiversity metric

Secured delivery via planning conditions, obligations or conservation covenants
Non-compliance can lead to planning delays or refusals. Civity NGE ensures you stay on the right side of regulation, while delivering tangible environmental value.
