Site Overview

The landbank was previously a parkland and intensively grazed pasture. It contains several mature and ancient/veteran trees but no young ones. The proposed ecological enhancements focus on:

• Planting and managing young trees to ensure continuous age-diverse tree coverage.
• Improving grassland species richness and diversity through a no-input hay cut and low-intensity grazing.
• Creating scrub habitats, including understories beneath existing tree groups.
